Teresa Adams (formerly Schwenke) has been Managing Director of Positive Friction GmbH in Göttingen since 2019. As external Senior Manager Data Protection at INTEGRITY, she has been responsible for activities at the Göttingen location since 2024 and supports customers based in the greater Göttingen area in all data protection issues.
Previously, Teresa was Vice President Operations at aquila biolabs GmbH in Eschweiler, where she was responsible for compliance and data protection, HR and process standardisation, among other things.
From 2013 to 2019, she worked for the Sartorius Group in Göttingen as a project manager and coordinator.
Teresa made a very successful start to her professional life in New Zealand at Micronz Ltd., where she was responsible for sales and marketing activities as Regional Manager for 4 years and was able to make a considerable contribution to the company’s development.
Teresa has
- a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to organise them efficiently in different industries;
- excellent knowledge of German and European data protection law and the resulting obligations for the companies and public organisations concerned;
- experience in introducing realistic data protection regulations and processes that can be communicated to employees;
- experience in the creation of data protection concepts and data protection impact assessments (DPIA), especially in the field of health data protection and clinical research;
- experience with service providers in the USA and the data protection regulations to be implemented in this context;
- excellent knowledge of the English language.
